Tapered Trousers with an Elastic Waist
These trousers pull straight on over a fully elasticated waistband that gathers evenly the whole way round. The leg is cut generous through the hip and thigh and then draws in at the ankle, so the shape reads relaxed without going shapeless. A patch pocket sits on each hip, open at the top and deep enough to keep a phone. The hem gathers softly rather than finishing in a stiff band.
